Due to the generous donation of "Antonius-Apotheke Deggendorf" the education centre could be extended. The neighbours' house with its large premises was purchased and reconstructed. Next to the highly anticipated office rooms, finally a garage for our equipment could be realized. Besides, two new rooms for our volunteers are available now. Furthermore this month we received a generous donation of furniture and objects of use from Mrs. Galas, which matches perfectly with the reconstruction of the centre.
But also the other projects have advanced this month. Thus another 300 litre of honey were gained in our bee project. This shows that the honey production in the rainy season has started at full pace.
Thanks to the donation of Leonhard and Martina Schlögl a well close to the city Bethania in the state of Pernambuco could be finished. Now it provides clean drink water to 7 families.
The community works are still organized regularly. In this month alone two of them took place. On time almost 40 volunteers helped with the reconstruction of our centre. In a second Mutirão the home of an old and really indigent couple was improved, since it was almost non-inhabitable. From the bottom of our hearts we want to say thanks to Family Schnierer who have donated the money for the Mutirão
This month of course the weekly visits of sick people, language courses, project support of the bee keeper and women group in the surrounding communities were continued. A new English course for beginners was initiated and with 40 participants it is well attended, too.

As announced the last month we will also present a project in each newsflash, which we want to realise in the upcoming months, but are still lacking a donor.
Like it was shown in the link of the last newsflash, we want to build 12 wells in the surrounding communities of the city Bethania this year. The families get their "drink water"
up to now from water holes in the ground.
This water is often polluted with mud, germs and manure of animals as it is evident on the picture. It triggers especially for kids with a weaker immune system diseases like worm sicknesses,
A project with is especially urgent is located in the isolated community "Sitio Jardim". Three families live there, who have massive problems with the water supply due to their distant location. To solve the water problem of these people we need 350 Euro.
