Arme Menschen e.V. celebrated its second anniversary this month.
On this occasion we want to say thanks to all the donors and helpers of the project for the support throughout the last years. In those two years many things have been achieved and we hope that we can continue to improve the lives of the families in the Northeast of Brazil with your support in the future, as well.
Monthly report April
„Vida nova" - new life, in relation to Easter this became our motto for this month. Several children parties were organized in the surrounding communities during Holy Week. Besides playing creative games, soft toys and chocolate eggs were distributed to the kids. At this point we want to say thank you to Family Klingelhöfer, Obermaier and Diepolder. They had collected the donations in Germany and brought them when they visited us during their two weeks stay in Brazil. Reading the bible and explaining the meaning of Easter Symbols were also an important part of these children parties. |

Dear Reader
Araruna is a small town with about 18,000 inhabitants in the state of Paraiba in the northeast of Brazil, which is said to be one of the driest regions in the country.
In the interior of the country, it only rains a few days in some years. Especially the farmers with their families suffer from these difficult circumstances.
Since the year 2000 our main goal is to provide support for these inhabitants.
